Frequently asked questions
How do I generate an XLSX file by API?
With one call to POST /v1/documents with format: "xlsx" and a prompt or your data in Markdown (one table per sheet). With the SDK: doconda.documents.create(format="xlsx", prompt="…"). You get the links to the Excel file and its PDF.
Are the formulas real?
Yes. Totals, percentages and taxes go in as Excel formulas, not typed numbers, so the sheet recalculates when you change a figure.
Can I review an Excel file I already have?
Yes: upload it and ask for operation: "review". Doconda finds formula errors, numbers stored as text or sheets too wide to print, and fixes what is safe to fix.
How much does it cost?
Creating a document costs from €0.30, depending on quality; reviewing one, €0.03; reading a file to Markdown is free. You get €5 of credit when you sign up and there is no subscription.
